Q: What is one thing that you wish you could share with people who have not done business with Hartsock Realty?

A: Dave says that one thing that he wishes he could share with people who have not done business with Hartsock Realty is that we will work hard for them to get the job done right. 

 

Q: What made you choose a career in real Estate?

A: Dave chose a career in real estate because of his experience in property management and his belief that it would be an easy transition. 

 

Q: What area do you consider your home region? / what area are you most familiar with.

A: When Dave was asked what his home region or which area he is most familiar with he said that he is familiar with all of the greater Lima area. Dave does not specialize in just one area of Allen County but rather seeks to know and work the entire area.

 

Q: How long have you been in the Real Estate industry?

A: Dave has been a licensed agent for over 3 years but has been in property management for 10 plus years.

 

Q: What is your favorite memory from work at Hartsock Realty?

A: Dave’s favorite memories at Hartsock Realty include spending time at company functions with fellow agents and spending time with Hartsock employees.

 

Q: How has real estate changed your life?

A: Real Estate changed Dave’s life by giving him freedom from the grind of the corporate world. Real Estate also allows him to invest in himself and allows him to work hard.

 

Q: What is one thing you wish you knew before you entered the real estate industry?

A: Dave said that one thing he wished he had known before he entered the real estate industry is the importance of his sphere of influence. He says that ones' sphere of influence will dictate how successful you will be in this industry.

 

Q: What is one thing that you wish you could share with clients about your philosophy? (life, business, or other)

A: The rule I live by whether it is property management, real estate, or sales/customer services is treat people the way you would like to be treated. Pay attention to your clients’ needs and always seek to find a way to best serve them by doing what you say you are going to do!

Caleb Dunlap Hartsock Realty’s Marketing said that “Dave is a hardworking member of the Hartsock team.” Dave has many important roles at Hartsock Realty. He is always ready to help one of his coworkers, he is our office DJ, and is always able to answer any questions or help find the answer.” 

 

When asked her take on Dave and his commitment to the company, Jeff’s Personal Assistant, Ann Barnes says, “Dave is one down-to-earth kind of guy! He can relate to anyone and always goes the extra mile for Hartsock Realty.” Ann said that she has often seen him stay late just to follow up with things on the rental side, and she has even seen him on a ladder changing light bulbs. “He is one dedicated individual!”

 

Jeff Dulmage says that Dave Mayer is “Super dedicated, detail-oriented guy who works really hard for our customers and clients every day! He does not make excuses, he just gets it done! Tremendous individual.”
